DESCRIPTION:SporttiRakki & Koirakoutsi organizes the second International Obedience Seminar in Ylöjärvi\, Finland in August! With three top coaches! \nHere you can see pics and videos from the seminar last year. \nFollow the event on Facebook here.  \nWhere & when?\n\nFriday-Sunday August 18-20\nKoirakoutsiareena\, Ylöjärvi Finland. Some of the trainings inside and some outside. Check more about the venue. \nTraining starts at 10-11 AM depending on the coach. Different groups start at different time so that the time of the lunch break varies and there are training groups running all the time. One training group lasts about 8 hours with the lunch break.\n\nWho can attend?\n\nAll who want to get and hear great tips from the top of the obedience world. You can choose between 3 great coaches!\nFinnish handlers + handlers from other countries as well\nYou can attend either as an active handler or as a spectator\nThere are no limitations to the training level of the dog\, EXCEPT FOR the parallel training on Saturday which is for OB3 dogs only\n\n \nRegistrations & fees\nActive handler (two options)\n\nNormal training group: Active handler’s fee 90 € (-10 % EARLY BIRD PRICE 81 € UNTIL THE END OF APRIL!). Training time 35 min + 5 min for questions (from the handler + audience). Please note that the handler’s place is only for that day\, for other days you have to pay the spectator fee if you want to come and see trainings.\nParallel training on Saturday with two coaches: Active handler’s fee 175 € (-10 % EARLY BIRD PRICE 157\,50 € UNTIL THE END OF APRIL!). This is a special training group for OB3/FCI3 dogs only where you go through all the exercises in OB3 class. Training takes place on the same field with another dog at the same time. In the morning 4 excercises with Christa and 4 exercises with Mari\, then a lunch break and in the afternoon 20 min training time with both coaches (Mari + Christa). Please note that the handler’s place is only for that day\, for other days you have to pay the spectator fee if you want to come and see trainings.\n\nSpectator\n\nOne day 45 € – EARLY BIRD PRICE 40\,50 € UNTIL THE END OF APRIL!\n3-day ticket 110 € – EARLY BIRD PRICE 99 € UNTIL THE END OF APRIL!\n\nRegistration \n\nActive handlers: Please send email to heidi@sporttirakki.fi if you want to reserve a place to Maria’s group either on Friday or Sunday – OTHER GROUPS ARE FULL! \nSpectators: Finnish spectators can reserve a place directly through our online store here. Other than Finnish spectators please send email to heidi@sporttirakki.fi to get a payment link.\n\nPayments\n\nPayment links will be sent after the Early Bird registration time is over (in the beginning of May) and the group places have been checked.\nPayments must be paid in 3 days after that: via credit card if you live outside Finland or Klarna/credit card/bank transfer from SporttiRakki’s online store if you are a Finnish customer\nPlease note that the registration is binding. Groups will be allocated in the order of registration and if there are more registrations than group places\, not all wishes may be fulfilled. You will be informed after the registration time is over and the payment links will be sent then. More specific info about your dog/wishes etc. will be asked when the group places are checked and verified and payments are made\n\n  \nCoaches\nChrista Enqvist-Pukkila FIN\nChrista is the most successful obedience handler in Finland. She has many big wins and top rankings with several dogs in national\, Nordic and World Championships. Christa has wide experience in obedience training and is a popular coach both in Finland and abroad. She is the head coach of the Finnish Obedience Training Ring and is a member of the Finnish obedience team.\n \n  \n\nMari Leiviskä FIN\n \n”Dogs and dog sports have been an important part of my life already in\nmy childhood\, we had Golden Retrievers in my family. A Hovawart Ronja was my first own dog and we trained and competed in agility and obedience together. Now I have three Border Collies: a 13-year old Puuma (Nordic\, Finnish\, Danish\, Swedish and Norwegian Obedience Champion\, Finnish Tracking Champion\, Finnish Rally-Obedience Champion and Winner in Finnish Tracking Championships 2017)\, a 9-year old Roima (Nordic\, Finnish\, Danish\, Swedish and Norwegian Obedience Champion\, Tracking Open title\, Winner in Finnish Obedience Championships 2019\, Winner in Nordic Obedience Championships 2021 and FCI Obedience World Champion 2022) and a 4-year old Yoda (Finnish Obedience Champion). We love obedience but we also train and compete in rally-obedience\, nose work\, tracking and agility.” \n  \n\nMaria Danielsson SWE\n \nPic: Michelle Holmlund\n”I’m Maria Danielsson and I live in Stockholm Sweden with my family and 3 Australian Kelpies.  \nMy passion – and leading star in training – is to always strive to learn more\, to try to understand the dogs perspective and in line with that to analyse and come up with different possible training ideas and solutions to find ways to bring out the best from every dog. I love details as well as the important solid foundations and therefore put quite a lot of time and effort on that. The dogs willingness\, confidence\, happiness and effort as their driving force is however always priority number one! \nOver the years I have competed in both search and tracking up to the highest class\, but main focus is in obedience were I for example have competed in the Nordic and World Championships with two team gold. \nEven though dogs always have been a huge interest of mine\, horses took most of my time when I was young.
